Anime Twin Cities Board Meeting Minutes

Board Present – Christina Kramer, Hope Kronen, Jeannette Wallen, Kevin Ehrler, Lori Fischer-Fairbanks and Nick Nelson

Agenda

  • Recap off cycle board actions and votes
     
    • Bruce Levine has resigned from the Board.
      • He had personal issues come up that caused him to resign from his position on the board but we were happy to have him with us he was great but he can’t join board meetings anymore so he will be stepping back in that capacity.
      • Since we are still above the minimum amount we won’t fill his vacancy, his term is up at the end of this cycle, and we will fill that spot at that time.

Coordinator Updates
 

  • Finance – Jeannette Wallen
     
    • Dollar amounts:
        • Business Checking: 240,578.68
        • Education Fund: 3,098.58
        • Business Market Rate Savings (Community Fund): 14,508.23
           

 

  • Anime Detour – J.C. Horvath
     
    • Rolling along its December, things are going as expected, no major news which is a good thing.
    • There is a staff meeting this coming Sunday at the St. Louis Park library at 1pm, we are also online at the Detour page, and you can also catch the meeting after the fact as a recording.


 

  • Charities – Jacob Warner
     
    • Mondale Gala
      • Him and Makaila went to the gala, they talked to a few people and got a few contacts.
      • Nothing else he can officially talk about yet.


 

  • Communications – Makaila Kozitza
     
    • Went to the Mondale Gala
      • Fun evening and made good connections at the event.
    • She wanted to look at getting the Newsletter in a better spot, she created a Substack for ATC and is excited to see where that will take us.

       
  • Special Events – Alli Cassel
     
    • We had Twin Cities Con and Colossal Con North last month, pretty good response on registration and being a good face for the convention.
       
    • No road shows till Mayish no events till Mayish that said if anyone wants to help with future planning or has suggestions message: specialevents@animedetour.com
       
    • Alli would love to have a new year’s party but would love to have help to plan that, if you want that to happen next year, we will try to make that happen.
