Harassment is behavior of an unwanted nature that is unwelcome and offensive to the person or persons it is targeted toward. Examples of harassing behavior may include unwanted physical contact, foul language of an offensive nature, propositions, jokes or remarks, obscene gestures, and displays of pornographic or sexually explicit pictures, drawings, or caricatures. Use of Anime Twin Cities’ technology for the purpose of viewing, displaying, or disseminating material that is sexual or derogatory in nature may also constitute harassing behavior.
If a staff member or attendee feels that they have been harassed on the basis of their race, ethnicity, national origin, age, religion, sex, gender, mental or physical attributes or any other legally protected characteristics they should immediately report the matter to their supervisor. If that person is not available, or if they feel it would be unproductive to inform that person, they should immediately contact that supervisor's superior or another member of management staff or the ATC Board directly. Once the matter has been reported it will be promptly investigated and any necessary corrective action will be taken where appropriate. All complaints of unlawful harassment will be handled in as discreet and confidential a manner as is possible under the circumstances.
Any staff member engaging in improper and or harassing behavior will be subject to disciplinary action, including the possible removal from staff and being banned from any and all ATC sponsored events.
If you have any legal reason you are not allowed around minors, you may not attend any ATC events. Failure to disclose will result in immediate removal from staff (if applicable) and a ban/removal from all ATC events. As well as a report to local authorities.
When posting on Social Media (example: multi-media, social networking websites, blogs and wikis),unless specifically authorized, refrain from discussing sensitive, confidential or opinion about ATC or Anime Detour business or interactions as an ATC or Anime Detour Official Representative. Any statements made must include a disclaimer (such as "the views expressed are mine alone and do not necessarily reflect the views of ATC.") to separate your personal opinions from official statements. Staff should neither claim nor imply that they are speaking on ATC's behalf. ATC reserves the right to request the certain subjects are avoided, withdraw certain posts, and remove inappropriate comments. In addition, internet postings should not include ATC logos or trademarks unless permission is asked for and granted.
